FLEX PROGRAM MISSION

The Texas State Galleries FLEX space invites students, faculty, staff, and alumni of the School of Art and Design to propose dynamic exhibition programming for Spring 2026. FLEX provides an opportunity to envision and assemble well-considered, visually engaging, and conceptually stimulating programs. Through these exhibitions and events, FLEX highlights the unique creative voices of our community while augmenting the educational experience for students and strengthening connections within the TXST Art and Design community and broader art world.

Types of Programming Include:

  • Solo or group exhibitions

  • Screenings or performances

  • Lectures, panels, or roundtables

  • Workshops

All students, alumni, faculty, and staff of the TXST School of Art and Design are eligible to apply. Student-submitted proposals require a faculty sponsor from the School of Art and Design, and applicants are responsible for confirming their sponsor’s support.
