TXST Galleries on the San Marcos Studio Tour

TXST Galleries is proud to participate in the 4th Annual San Marcos Studio Tour, celebrating the vibrant creative community of San Marcos. The tour invites visitors to explore artist studios, galleries, and exhibition spaces throughout the city while engaging directly with artists and their work.

During the tour, TXST Galleries will serve as stop number 52 on the tour route, welcoming visitors to experience the 2026 Juried Student Exhibition, on view in Galleries 1 and 2. Featuring work by Texas State students selected by an invited juror, the exhibition highlights a range of creative practices across the School of Art and Design.

About the San Marcos Studio Tour

Organized by MotherShip Studios, a nonprofit arts space located between San Marcos and Martindale, Texas, the San Marcos Studio Tour is allows visitors to connect with local artists, exploring unique aspects of our culture and community.

Participants discover artists in their neighborhoods or at local stores, fostering cultural and economic growth. With 6,000 visitors, over 30 business sponsors, and 100+ local artists, the San Marcos Studio Tour makes space for connection between artists, local businesses, and the public.
