On Thursday, February 5 at 2 p.m. join Beverly Penn for an artist talk, guided tour, and book signing coinciding with her exhibition, Foregrounding Paradise. Explore the ideas, materials, and techniques that have shaped her work over the past three decades, and gain firsthand insight into her creative process. This is a unique opportunity to hear the artist’s reflections, ask questions, and engage directly with the themes and evolution of her practice in the gallery setting.

Following the tour, French & Michigan will join us for a book signing. French & Michigan published Beverly Penn: Foregrounding (2024), the first comprehensive examination of the artist’s career.
